3For cthe scepter of wickedness shall not drest
on ethe land allotted to the righteous,
lest the righteous fstretch out
their hands to do wrong.

Daniel 3:17

17If this be so, gour God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
Or If our God whom we serve is able to deliver us, he will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and out of your hand, O king.

John 10:28-30

28 kI give them eternal life, and lthey will never perish, and mno one will snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, nwho has given them to me,
Some manuscripts What my Father has given to me
pis greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of qthe Father’s hand.
30 rI and the Father are one.”

Romans 8:28-39

28And we know that for those who love God all things work together sfor good,
Some manuscripts  God works all things together for good, or God works in all things for the good
for uthose who are called according to his purpose.
29For those whom he vforeknew he also wpredestined xto be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be ythe firstborn among many brothers. 30And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also zjustified, and those whom he justified he also aaglorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31What then shall we say to these things? abIf God is for us, who can be
Or  who is
against us?
32 adHe who did not spare his own Son but aegave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? afIt is God who justifies. 34 agWho is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raisedahwho is at the right hand of God, aiwho indeed is interceding for us.
Or Is it Christ Jesus who died . . . for us?
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36As it is written,

ak“For your sake alwe are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37No, in all these things we are more than amconquerors through anhim who loved us. 38For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
